Tree removal – Before

The tree removal guys will start their work tomorrow on Tuesday Feb 5th. So on Saturday Feb 2nd, we took the fence that between 157 Chisholm and 159 Chisholm down to make the tree removal easier. So here’s all the trees that we have in the backyard.

Tree Locations

Just before all these trees are coming down, I took the liberty to take a few photo of what the back yard looks like with all these trees. First is this big tree that’s causing me trouble with my planned rear detached garage. Because of its size, my entire rear area of the back yard is deemed a tree protection zone and no construction activity can occur in the area.

Right beside this tree is another big Manitoba Maple. This is a diseased tree. Back in 2006 a major branch broken off and fall on the property of 157 Chisholm. Today, there is another large chunk that broke off and is simply dangling there.

A closer look at that piece that broke. As you can see the branch is all hollow inside. I know that raccoons made nests in the tree trunk, and I’ve see baby raccoons in the tree trunks.

Closer to the house, on both sides, there are a number of smaller trees.

There are few more tiny trees right between 159 Chisholm and 157 Chisholm. And they will all have to go.
