 May 29th, 2015The deck is now finally completed. You might think that the deck is completed on the previous post. But no, all the fasteners are still exposed. Now all the screws are driven into the boards. And all the holes are not filled so that you can’t easily see any screw holes.
May 12th, 2015Deck work continues. The guard rail is now completed. Here you can see the gate to access underneath the deck with hardware installed.
April 24th, 2015Deck work continues. Here you can see that the guard rail is almost fully cladded.
April 23rd, 2015This is 8th day of deck building. Because there are two decks being built at the same time, the progress is slower than usual. Here you can see the guard rail is being cladded with deck boards.
April 21st, 2015Work on the deck continues today. The deck boards are now being installed as well as the two guardrails on both side of the deck.
April 18th, 2015Deck work continues, here the stair stringers are all cut and read to go.
April 16th, 2015Deck work continues. Here are all the concrete footings. April 15th, 2015A ledger board is secured to the concrete foundation. This ledger board is not meant to support the weight of the deck. Instead it is mean to simply tied to the deck post and make sure the deck is not moving away or towards the house.
April 13th, 2015The material for the deck is delivered today.
April 9th, 2015The concrete footings for the deck is now poured.
They have covered it due to the raining weather.
